We are currently recruiting a Project Engineer to join our Special Engineering Services Division. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to work within the expeditious Geospatial industry. The role will appeal to practically minded engineers who enjoy a balanced mix of office and site-based work, engaging with clients, building long-lasting professional relationships and helping to maintain Irelands critical infrastructure.

 

Key Responsibilities


  • Managing operation of varied technical inspections using a variety of technologies.
  • Undertaking technical feasibility studies and site investigations.
  • Understanding and application of technology for undertaking inspections.
  • Handling, processing and interpreting geospatial data.
  • Preparing quotations, tender bids and negotiating contracts.
  • Project Management.
  • Building client relationships.
  • Any other duties as required by the business.

 

Requirements


  • Degree in Civil Engineering (NFQ Level 8) - BSc in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification & level – Chartered Status desired.
  • 5+ years’ experience in the management of projects and delivering a client focused service.
  • Competence in, but not limited to; all aspects of civil, drainage design, including construction standards, technical reporting, conditional surveys and report writing.
  • High standard of customer service.
  • Geospatial Surveying Experience (desired but not essential).
  • Diving/water experience (desired but not essential).
  • Rope access (IRATA Level 1 – desired but not essential).
  • Boat handling experience/certification (desired but not essential).
  • The right to work in Ireland.
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.
  • Possess a full clean Irish/EU Driving license.
